 PLANTING GUIDE OF CHOISUM SEEDS – TLP 198

                    (GOLDEN COIN SEEDS)

I. Feartures:

 - Strong plant, big stem, good tolerance to disease.

 - Harvesting: 25 - 30 days after sowing.

 - Leaf color is deep green, large leaf.

 - All round year growing.

II. Density distance:

• In dry season, raised beds 5 – 10 cm high, 80 – 100 cm width.
• In rainy season, raised beds 15 – 20 cm high, 60 – 70 cm width.
• Bed length depending on the location of the land, ditches between two beds about 40cm.

III. Planting tips:

- Year round growing, Main season Winter Spring (from November to February), Spring Summer (from January to May).

IV. Cultivation techniques:

*Direct sowing:

- Soaking seeds in warm water in 3 – 4 hours, take out, incubation one night before sowing, seeds will germinate more quickly and evenly than dry sowing.

- Irrigating  raised bed before sowing, after sowing, spread thin husk ash coated seeds (spread thin husks in rainy season) and is sprinkled with pesticides and other insect pests (caterpillars, beetles, cricket, ...) by chemicals: Basudin, Regent, Furadan,...

- On the bed spread thin mulching and irrigating moist enough.

- When seedlings 10 – 15 days, remove small or infected seedlings to increase distance to 10 – 15 cm.

*Transplanted seedlings:

- Sowing on 40 m2 (nursery beds). Beds must dry, full of light.

- About 15 – 20 days after sowing, the seedlings have 3 – 4 leaves, transplanted them.

- Before transplanted need watering beds with DAP (30g /10 liters of water).

V. Planting and maintenance:

1/ Fertilizers (for 1.000 m²):

Fertilizer application for cultivation depends on geographic conditions, however, we recommend applying the following guides are applied very effectively to many growing areas for you refer and apply.

- Preventing and treating by rotating spray chemicals to the lower side of the leaves in late afternoon: Emamectin Benzoate (Avermectin B1a 90% + Avermectin B1b 10%), Lufenuron (min 96%), Flubendiamize (min 95%), Chlorantraniliprol./
